Since its foundation, in 1994, Ecofabril has been concerned with ensuring the sustainable growth of its business, by means of fully harmonizing its industrial operations with environmental preservation. The company is the first in Brazil to recycle PET bottles, using them as the main raw material to manufacture fibers, and recycling approximately 1,000,000,000 bottles per year.
Furthermore, all industrial waste and effluents from our plant are fully treated or disposed in a controlled and responsible manner. Having made significant investments in its Effluents Treatment Station, Ecofabril has an installed capacity to treat 17,000 gallons of water per hour, this flow being returned to its manufacturing process for reuse.
